Typeface Design

Room is a three-dimensional typeface design which can be used both hollowed or filled. It has a sense of space and construction, which makes it an outstanding and fun display typeface.

Exploration

I started this project with an exploration of interesting shapes and textures I found in daily life. I sketched out some letters based on my inspirations and developed other letters in the same style originated from the "soul character".

Based on the "soul characters" that I was happy with, more characters came to life as a specimen of the typeface.
